Himanshu Jain

In the midst of our busy lives, it’s easy to overlook the everyday heroes among us. Today, we want to shine a spotlight on one such individual who has made an indelible mark on the lives of our children at GoodWorks Trust. Meet the incredible man – Himanshu Jain, who, during his sabbatical, chose to spend his afternoons teaching our children.

Himanshu Jain’s story is one of selflessness and service. Despite his demanding role at The Royal Bank of Scotland (NatWest Group), he chose to utilize his sabbatical leave not for leisure, but for a noble cause – to teach and mentor the children at GoodWorks Trust. Every day, without any expectation of profit or personal gain, Himanshu sir has walked through our doors, armed with not just textbooks but a wealth of knowledge about the world, general awareness and career guidance.

From the very beginning, Sir impressed everyone around him with his punctuality and dedication. Every day, without fail, he arrives at our centre with a beaming smile, ready to share his knowledge and mentor the young minds. Despite his retired life, he maintains a disciplined routine that reflects his commitment to making a difference in the lives of these children.

Instead of resting on his laurels, he felt a strong urge to give back to society and utilize his skills and knowledge for a greater cause. The impact of Mr. Garg’s tuition classes on the students has been profound. Many of these children come from challenging backgrounds and the free classes provide them with an opportunity to dream big and work towards a brighter future. His unwavering support and encouragement have helped his students improve their academic performance and gain newfound confidence. Many of his students look up to him as a role model, not only for his knowledge but also for the person he is. He has been a guiding light for these children, inspiring them to believe in themselves and reach for the stars.

It is essential to pause and acknowledge the unsung heroes who work tirelessly to elevate the society and make a significant difference. We want to express our deepest gratitude and immense pride in having Rishi Sir as an esteemed member of GoodWorks’ team.
